Q-Collar Week in Review (3/3/25) - Q30

This week was yet another week loaded with high-impact performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out their highlights below.

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse:

  • UPENN Attackman Cam Rubin logged 6 total goals, including these three scores (#1,#2, #3), across the Quakers’ two matchups this week, a pair of losses to Duke University and the University of North Carolina.
  • Cornell University Attackman Ryan Goldstein scored 5 total goals and added 4 total assists across the Big Red’s two contests this week, a pair of victories over Hobart College and the University of Richmond.
  • Princeton University Midfielder Chad Palumbo netted 4 total goals, including this acrobatic finish as well as this behind-the-back score, and added 3 total assists across the Tigers’ two matchups this week, a pair of victories over Duke University and the University of North Carolina. Palumbo’s teammate, Attackman Colin Burns, added 2 total goals, including this score which was ranked #4 on SportsCenter's Top-10 Plays, across the same stretch.
  • University of Albany Attackman Silas Richmond netted a hat-trick (#1, #2, #3) in the Great Danes’ 10-9 loss to the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
  • St. Bonaventure University Attackman Conor Murphy scored 3 total goals (#1, #2, #3) and added 5 total assists across the Bonnies’ two matchups this week, a victory over Mercyhurst University and a loss to Le Moyne College. Midfielder Drew Kenney, logged 2 total goals (#1, #2) and 3 total assists across the same stretch.
  • Brown University Midfielder Ben Scandone scored a goal and logged 4 assists in the Bears’ 13-8 loss to Georgetown University.
  • Marquette University Midfielder Will Foster tallied 2 assists in the Golden Eagles’ 20-16 loss to Harvard University.
  • Dartmouth College Attackman Alex Jessey logged 1 assist in the Big Green’s 14-9 win over the University of Vermont.

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse:

  • Mercer University Attacker Sofia D’Angelo netted 5 goals in the Bears’ 20-4 win over Kennesaw State University.
  • Johns Hopkins University Attacker Charlotte Smith scored 4 total goals, including these three scores (#1, #2, #3), across the Blue Jays’ two contests this week, a pair of victories over Georgetown University and Stony Brook University.
  • University of South Florida Attacker Sofia Chepenik scored 2 goals, including this snipe from deep, and added 2 assists in the Bulls’ 19-5 victory over St. Bonaventure University.
  • Arizona State University Katie Vahle made 26 total saves across the Sun Devils’ two matchups this week, a loss to the University of Southern California and a win over St. Joseph’s University. In the Sun Devils’ loss to the University of Southern California, Vahle made a career-high 18 saves.
  • University of Florida Goalkeeper Georgia Hoey made 4 saves in the Gators’ 17-16 loss to James Madison University. For her performance the previous week, Hoey was named Big 12 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season.

 MLS Soccer:

  • LAFC Striker Jeremy Ebobisse contributed to LAFC’s offensive efforts in both of their matches this week, a pair of victories over the Colorado Rapids and NYCFC.
  • Chicago Fire FC Defender Omar Gonzalez subbed-in and contributed to Chicago’s defensive efforts in their 2-2 draw against D.C, United.

Pro Volleyball Federation: 

  • Indy Ignite Middle Blocker Lydia Marytn logged 24 total points, including 18 total kills, across the Ignite’s two matchups this week, a win over the Vegas Thrill and a loss to the Omaha Supernovas.

NCAA Women’s Basketball:

  • Middle Tennessee State University Forward Elina Arike logged 6 total points and 15 total rebounds across the Blue Raiders’ two contests this week, a pair of victories over New Mexico State University and UTEP.
