Q-Collar Week in Review (2/24/25) - Q30

This week, athletes wearing the Q-Collar shined in key moments across the sports world. Check out some of their highlights below.

Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Boston Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored 5 goals, including this diving finish, which earned Holman the #1 spot on SportsCenter’s Top-10 plays, in the Cannons’ 21-14 win over the Utah Archers to clinch the 2025 PLL Championship Series title.

 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse:

  • University of Albany Attackman Silas Richmond scored 7 total goals, including this acrobatic finish along with this score on the doorstep, and added 2 assists across the Great Danes’ two matchups, a loss to UPENN and a win over Drexel University. For his performance, Richmond was named America East Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Defenseman Max Neeson added a goal, recovered 6 total ground balls and caused 4 total turnovers across the same stretch. 
  • UPENN Attackman Cam Rubin scored 3 total goals, including this snipe from deep, and added an assist across the Quakers’ two contests this week, a pair of victories over the University of Albany and the University of Delaware. In the Quakers’ win over the University of Albany, Rubin secured his 100th career point. Rubin’s teammate, Defenseman Tyler Kuehl added a goal, 1 recovered ground ball and 1 caused turnover in the same stretch.
  • Cornell University Attackman Ryan Goldstein scored a goal and picked up 5 assists in the Big Red’s 15-5 victory over the University of Denver.
  • Brown University Midfielder Ben Scandone scored 2 total goals across the Bears’ two contests this week, a loss to Boston University and a win over Providence College. Scandone’s teammate, Attackman Luke Dellicicchi, added 1 assist across the same stretch.
  • Saint Bonaventure University Midfielder Drew Kenney scored 2 goals (#1 & #2) in the Bonnies’ 8-7 loss to Robert Morris University.
  • Dartmouth College Attackman Alex Jessy scored 1 total goal, the first of his career and added 1 total assist across the Big Green’s two matchups this week, a loss to UMASS-Amherst and a win over Holy Cross.
  • Princeton University Midfielder Chad Palumbo logged 1 assist in the Tigers’ 13-9 loss to the University of Maryland. Defensive Chad Green added 2 recovered ground balls and 1 caused turnover in the loss.
  • Bellarmine University Defenseman Matt Kirton recovered 9 total ground balls and caused 5 total turnovers across the Knights’ two matchups this week, a loss to Cleveland State University and a win over Detroit Mercy University.
  • Notre Dame Attackman Brock Behrman recovered 1 ground ball and caused 1 turnover in the Fighting Irish’s 11-9 victory over Georgetown University.

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse:

  • University of South Florida Attacker Sofia Chepenik scored 10 total goals, including these 5 scores, and added 1 assist across the Bulls’ two matchups this week, a pair of  losses to the University of Florida and Towson University. For her performance, Chepenik was named American Athletic Conference Attacker of the Week.
  • Johns Hopkins University Attacker Charlotte Smith scored 1 total goal and added 1 total assist across the Blue Jays’ two contests this week, a loss to Loyola University (MD) and a victory over UPENN.
  • Mercer University Attacker Sofia D’Angelo scored a goal in the Bears’ 19-6 loss to Vanderbilt University.
  • University of Florida Goalkeeper Georgia Hoey made 7 saves and picked up the win in the Gators’ 18-11 victory over the University of South Florida.
  •  Arizona State University Goalkeeper Katie Vahle made 16 saves in the Sun Devils’ 21-12 loss to the University of Denver. For her performance the previous week, Vahle was named Big 12 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, making it the second consecutive week an athlete wearing the Q-Collar has won this award.

National Lacrosse League:

  • Philadelphia Wings Forward Brennan O’Neill scored a goal in the Wings’ 11-6 loss to the Albany Firewolves.

MLS Soccer:

  • LAFC Striker Jeremy Ebobisse scored the lone goal in LAFC’s 1-0 victory over Minnesota United FC.

NCAA Women’s Basketball:

  •  Middle Tennessee State University Forward Elina Arike scored 8 total points and logged 5 total rebounds across the Blue Raiders’ two matchups this week, a pair of wins over Louisiana Tech University and Sam Houston State University.

Pro Volleyball Federation:

  • Indy Ignite Middle Blocker Lydia Martyn scored 10 points, which included 7 kills like this finish, in the Ignite’s 3-1 win over the Atlanta Vibe.
